The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) conducts the Central Armed Police Forces (Assistant Commandant) Examination for recruitment to BSF, CRPF, CISF, ITBP, SSB, and Assam Rifles. Pattern: Paper I (General Ability & Intelligence — 250 MCQs, Objective), Paper II (General Studies, Essay & Comprehension — Conventional/Descriptive, 200 marks). Both papers contribute to final merit. Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Medical Standards Test follow.
