About the exam and pattern

JEE Main is the national-level engineering entrance exam for admission to NITs, IIITs, other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs), and as a qualifying exam for JEE Advanced (IIT admission). Conducted by NTA twice a year (Jan & Apr sessions), 90 MCQs (PCM), 3 hours, negative marking. Paper 1: B.E./B.Tech. Paper 2: B.Arch./B.Planning. Since 2024, syllabus aligned with NCERT Class XI & XII.
